THE LOWDOWN
LEEDS UTD
- Leeds Utd have put themselves in an excellent position to pull themselves firmly clear of relegation trouble having recorded consecutive top flight wins heading into the international break, most recently coming back from two goals down to beat ten-man Wolves 2-3 at Molineux.
- That victory came at a cost with striker Patrick Bamford forced off prematurely through injury and he won’t be fit in time to play a part here, although Joe Gelhardt is expected to be back in the fold after missing the Wolves match.
SOUTHAMPTON
- Four defeats in all competitions have left Southampton at a crossroads heading into the final stretch of the season with them out of the FA Cup and mid-table in the Premier League with 35 points.
- Centre-back Lyanco and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy remain out for the Saints, although apart from those two players, Ralph Hasenhuttl should be able to call upon the entirety of his squad.

THE PREDICTION
This represents a clash between two teams at opposite ends of the form scale, which Leeds Utd will be hoping bodes well as they look to make it three wins on the bounce under new head coach Jesse Marsch. Although the visitors will pose a threat going forward when considering that they have only failed to score in one of their last 17 matches in all competitions, Leeds have momentum in their favour, not to mention a vocal Elland Road crowd who don’t need an excuse to ramp up the volume in support of their side. Whilst both teams to score is expected, the smart play would also be to back Leeds to triumph with home advantage in their favour against an opponent likely to be low on confidence.
Tip: LEEDS UTD TO WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
