THE LOWDOWN
LEEDS UTD
- Two games, two defeats and two red cards tells you that Leeds Utd have had a nightmare week at the worst possible time, leaving themselves in mortal relegation danger and a fourth successive Premier League loss against Brighton could see them all but down should Burnley win either of their next two games.
- This past Wednesday night saw Daniel James join Luke Ayling last Sunday in receiving his marching orders for a bad tackle and both are suspended here, joining an already lengthy list of absentees including Stuart Dallas, Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts.
BRIGHTON
- It was memorable Saturday for Brighton last weekend as they thrashed Man Utd 4-0, arguably their best result since promotion to the Premier League and backing up their 0-3 triumph away at Wolves.
- Both Enock Mwepu and Jeremy Sarmiento are unlikely to be available for the trip to Elland Road, whilst Jakub Moder remains out for the long-term.

THE PREDICTION
The first ominous sign regarding the outcome of this game from a Brighton perspective came when Mike Dean was announced as the referee. The Seagulls have not won any of their nine games played in which he has refereed and Leeds Utd will be praying that run continues here. Elland Road will no doubt be at loudest such is the importance of this game and we’ve already seen this season at Goodison Park how a raucous home support can change the fortunes of a relegation threatened side. Brighton are certainly not expected to roll over here and their recent form reflects their quality, but against a desperate Leeds Utd side no doubt willing to throw everything they have at the visitors in a bid to gain a positive result, the Whites are well worth backing to gain at least a point if not all three via the double chance market.
Tip: LEEDS UTD TO WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
