THE LOWDOWN
FULHAM
- It was honours even once again for Fulham as they played out a goalless draw with Wolves last time out but it could have been so much better had Aleksandar Mitrovic dispatched a late penalty, with the Serb denied from the spot by Jose Sa.
- Marco Silva has confirmed that he has the same players available as last week, meaning Andreas Pereira has recovered from the knock he received against Wolves.
BRENTFORD
- Brentford were in dreamland last weekend as they took apart a hapless Man Utd 4-0, and although their opponents’ torrid display dominated many of the headlines, Thomas Frank’s men were excellent throughout and fully deserving of their victory.
- Frank will see no reason to change things around here, with the same personnel that dismissed Man Utd so handily set to line up for this fixture.

THE PREDICTION
Brentford perhaps didn’t receive enough credit for their dismantling of Man Utd last week, but it was no doubt another feather to Thomas Frank’s cap. The Bees are now an established Premier League outfit, and a blueprint to success that the likes of Fulham will be looking to emulate. Buoyed by such a performance, you’d fancy the visitors to go on the front foot here, but Aleksandar Mitrovic – smarting from his penalty miss last week – will pose a danger at the other end and could well have more luck here. Both teams scoring is worth considering in this one.
