THE LOWDOWN

FULHAM

  • Three defeats from the last four Premier League games has seen Fulham slide down the table a little and Marco Silva will be particularly keen to see his side tighten up in defence as they have conceded seven goals in their last two games.
  • Silva is sweating on the fitness of key man Aleksandar Mitrovic, who only returned to team training on Friday, while Nathaniel Chalobah misses out once again through suspension

BOURNEMOUTH

  • There was a fair deal of criticism thrown at Bournemouth when they sacked Scott Parker in the aftermath of their 9-0 defeat to Liverpool, but the Cherries have since gone five games unbeaten in the Premier League and find themselves in the top half of the table.
  • Joe Rothwell and Ben Pearson are both now fully-fit and available after a good week of training behind them but David Brooks is not yet ready for a return to the side.

BOURNEMOUTH

THE PREDICTION

These two promoted sides find themselves in the top half of the table heading into the weekend but Bournemouth are clearly the team with more momentum behind them right now, having gone five games unbeaten under interim manager Gary O’Neil. Fulham have been defensively suspect of late and the recent absence of Mitrovic is certainly not helping them up front. It may well be too soon for the Serb to return to the side this weekend, and given the Cherries’ current form, they could be worth backing to sneak at least a point.

TIP: BOURNEMOUTH DRAW NO BET
