THE LOWDOWN
EVERTON
After narrowly surviving relegation in the past two seasons, many were earmarking Everton for the drop before the campaign started, and they have done little to change that view with defeats to Fulham and Aston Villa so far.
It was a limp display from the Toffees against Villa last week, with Sean Dyche's men second best all over the pitch. Two goals either side of the break did the damage, with Everton looking both disorganised at the back and toothless in the final third.
WOLVES
It has likewise been a tough start for Wolves, who were handily beaten by Brighton last weekend to leave them on zero points at this early stage of the season.
Kaoru Mitoma, Pervis Estupinan and a Solly March brace put Brighton four goals to the good at Molineux, with a Hwang Hee-chan consolation goal doing little to paper over the cracks. To make matters worse, Matheus Nunes - heavily linked with a big-money move to Man City this week - was given his marching orders in injury-time.
THE TEAM NEWS
EVERTON
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has suffered yet another setback after playing just 38 minutes last week and will now have to see a specialist, while Alex Iwobi has been hit with a hamstring injury and also misses out. Arnaut Danjuma and Neal Maupay look like natural replacements in the starting line-up, while Dyche may consider a reshuffle in defence after the poor showing last weekend.
PREDICTED XI (4-1-4-1): Pickford; Patterson, Keane, Tarkowski, Young; Gueye; Garner, Doucoure, Onana, Danjuma; Maupay
UNAVAILABLE: Coleman (Injured), McNeil (Injured), Harrison (Fitness), Dele (Injured), Iwobi (Injured), Chermiti (Injured), Calvert-Lewin (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Gomes (Injured)
WOLVES
Once again, Gary O'Neil has a fully-fit squad to choose from with only Matheus Nunes absent after being sent off for two bookable offences last weekend.
Pablo Sarabia and Hwang Hee-chan, who combined for Wolves' consolation goal last week, could find themselves in the starting line-up as O'Neil searches for the winning formula.
PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Sa; Semedo, Dawson, Kilman, Ait-Nouri; Neto, Gomes, Lemina, Hwang; Sarabia, Cunha
UNAVAILABLE: Nunes (Suspended)

THE PREDICTION
Two teams who have struggled in the opening weeks of the season meet here, with both sides no doubt desperate to put their first points on the board. Sean Dyche and Gary O'Neil will each have been impressing upon their team the importance of getting results in games like this, but that could well lead to a tense affair with a 'don't lose' attitude on both sides of the pitch. Therefore, a low-scoring draw seems like a probable outcome at Goodison Park.
