THE LOWDOWN
CRYSTAL PALACE
- Although Crystal Palace went into the World Cup break on the back of defeat against Nottingham Forest, the Eagles remain well-placed in 11th-place, level on points with both Fulham and Brentford just above them.
- Defender Nathan Ferguson, goalkeeper Sam Johnstone and defender James McArthur are all injured and will miss the visit of Marco Silva’s side.
FULHAM
- It has been an excellent return to the Premier League so far for Fulham, who sit in 9th-place, although they will need to arrest a slump which saw them lose consecutive Premier League fixtures headed into the break.
- The form of striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will no doubt be a key factor as to whether the Cottagers can sustain their positive first half of the season and carry it through into the New Year, but the Serbian is doubtful for this one through injury.

FULHAM
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Decordova-Reid; Diop, Ream, Robinson; Palhinha, Cairney; Wilson, Pereira, James; Vinicius

THE PREDICTION
Crystal Palace have had plenty of time to stew on that defeat away to lowly Notts Forest and a strong response is expected from them at Selhurst Park against another newly promoted side in Fulham. Without Mitrovic, the likelihood is that the visitors will struggle and even if he does start, there will be question marks over how fit the Serbian star is. Patrick Viera meanwhile, has an abundance of riches at his disposal going forward, with talisman Wilfried Zaha available alongside the likes of Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze. The Eagles have won each of their last three Premier League games at home and backing them to continue that run has to be favoured.
TIP: CRYSTAL PALACE TO WIN
