THE LOWDOWN
CHELSEA
- A wonder strike from Conor Gallagher handed Graham Potter victory in his first Premier League game in charge of Chelsea last weekend, and the Blues followed that up with an impressive win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday.
- The injury suffered by recent signing Wesley Fofana on Wednesday is not as bad as first feared but the centre-back will miss the next few games, while N’Golo Kante is not quite ready to make his return.
WOLVES
- A 2-0 defeat to West Ham was the last straw for Bruno Lage with the Wolves board dismissing the Portuguese manager in the aftermath of that result, and that means Steve Davis and James Collins will take temporary charge here as the search for a successor continues.
- Ruben Neves is suspended for this encounter due to passing the yellow card threshold while Pedro Neto has been hit with the bad news that the injury he sustained last weekend will keep him out until the new year.

THE PREDICTION
Chelsea have started well under new manager Graham Potter while Wolves are searching for their own following the dismissal of Bruno Lage, and that certainly goes in the hosts’ favour here. Chelsea appear to have found their feet in the new regime and Potter will be pleased about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contribution of late, with goals in successive games for the Gabonese international. Wolves are missing some key players through suspension and have scored the fewest goals in the Premier League this season, so a win to nil for Chelsea is worth looking at.
TIP: CHELSEA TO WIN TO NIL
