THE TEAM NEWS
CHELSEA
Romeo Lavia rejoined the Chelsea injury list last week so the Belgian midfielder remains unavailable for the Blues, whilst the likes of Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James are all other key defensive injury issues.
Malo Gusto has been a key man in the absence of the aforementioned James but the former Lyon defender is also now a doubt after limping off with what appeared to be a hamstring injury against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Disasi, Silva, Badiashile, Cucurella; Fernandez, Caicedo; Palmer, Gallagher, Sterling; Jackson
UNAVAILABLE: Sanchez (Injured), Fofana (Injured), Chalobah (Injured), Colwill (Injured), James (Injured), Ugochukwu (Injured), Lavia (Injured), Chukwuemeka (Injured), Nkunku (Injured)

MAN UTD
Left-back pair Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are still unavailable for Erik ten Hag and Manchester United, whilst Anthony Martial is also expected to be absent for the visitors on Thursday evening.
Altay Bayindir is expected to be back in the squad but the details of Northern Irishman Jonny Evans’ absence through a ‘minor injury’ remain unknown. Both Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane hobbled off against Brentford.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Onana; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Wan-Bissaka; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund
UNAVAILABLE: Shaw (Injured), Malacia (Injured), Martial (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Bayindir (Injured), Evans (Injured), Lindelof (Injured), Varane (Injured)
THE PREDICTION
It is just absolutely astonishing that Manchester United begin this midweek round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six. Yet again, Erik ten Hag's men put in a disorganised and disjointed performance on Saturday evening and, yet again, were extremely fortunate not to lose as they shared a dramatic 1-1 draw with Brentford. Chelsea have also majorly underperformed this season after a 2-2 draw with Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon. Chelsea can draw any team into a high-scoring basketball match. These are two sides lacking real cohesion so both teams scoring would seem a good bet.
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
