THE LOWDOWN
CHELSEA
- Once again, penalty-kicks proved Chelsea’s undoing in a major cup final as last Saturday saw the Blues beaten by Liverpool in the FA Cup final at Wembley following a 0-0 draw after 120 minutes with Cesar Azpilicueta and Mason Mount the two players to miss from the spot.
- Kai Havertz, Mateo Kovacic and Timo Werner all face a race against time to play any part in this one, whilst both Ben Chilwell and Callum Hudson-Odoi remain out injured.
LEICESTER
- A thumping 1-5 over relegated Watford was a second straight league win for Leicester heading into this game and the Foxes and well and truly found their scoring touch, netting eight times across those two matches.
- Youri Tielemans is struggling with a knee injury and could miss out here with Brendan Rodgers having the option to move Maddison central and start either Marc Albrighton or Ademola Lookman.

THE PREDICTION
Following such a devastating defeat at the weekend, it would be no surprise if Chelsea sport somewhat of a hangover going into this encounter and an in-form Leicester are the sort of team primed to capitalise. With the likes of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes back to their respective best, this is likely to prove a difficult challenge for a fatigued Blues, especially when taking into account the pace Leicester boast going forward. Although Chelsea will still come into this match as favourites, the smart play here may well be backing the visitors to gain at least a point, if not all three from Stamford Bridge via the double chance market.
Tip: LEICESTER TO WIN/DRAW DOUBLE CHANCE
