THE LOWDOWN
BURNLEY
- Burnley’s upturn in fortunes continued a fortnight ago as they held high-flying Chelsea to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge after coming from behind, arguably their most impressive result of the season so far although the Clarets do remain inside the bottom three.
- Striker Ashley Barnes is doubtful and midfielder Dale Stephens is still not up to fitness, but other than that manager Sean Dyche should have a full squad to select from ahead of this match.
CRYSTAL PALACE
- Crystal Palace made it two straight wins and six league games unbeaten with a 2-0 victory over Wolves and it could be argued that the international break came at a bad time for them just as they were gaining some serious momentum.
- It has been revealed that Joachim Andersen and Eberechi Eze will be part of the squad despite some prior concerns while James McArthur has been ruled out which means a spot in the midfield three is up for grabs.

THE PREDICTION
It would be no surprise if little can be found to separate these two in-form sides who will be well aware of their opponent’s respective qualities. Burnley know that they must keep a lid on Palace talisman Wilfried Zaha, particular on the counter attack whilst the Eagles will need to stand up to not only the aerial threat of Burnley, but also the quality of new signing Maxwel Cornet, who has adapted brilliantly to life in the Premier League since his arrival at the club. Ultimately, clear cut chances are expected to be at a premium in Lancashire with both teams strong defensively and under 2.5 goals looks very much on the cards.
Tip: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
