THE LOWDOWN
BURNLEY
- Burnley held their own admirably in 2-2 draw away at Southampton least weekend, but the Clarets ultimately remain without a victory in the Premier League this season after nine games.
- The injury list boss Sean Dyche has to contend with is relatively short as only Dale Stephens and goalkeeper almost certainly Wayne Hennessey are missing, whilst it appears to be a straight choice between Nathan Collins and Ben Mee as to who partners James Tarkowski in central defence.
BRENTFORD
- Two straight Premier League defeats and a mounting injury list giving head coach Thomas Frank cause for concern, although his side did bounce back midweek with victory away to Stoke in the Carabao Cup.
- The news that first-choice goalkeeper David Raya is out for the long term with a knee injury is a huge blow for the Bees with Alvaro Fernandez likely to play in his place and but it is hoped that Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo will recover in time for the trip to Turf Moor.

THE PREDICTION
Brentford have impressed many over the course of this season so far, however as can always happen to newly promote sides, injuries begin to take their toll and a loss of form can occur. Therefore, Burnley are in a prime position to take advantage here. The hosts will no doubt be looking to rediscover the defensive stability that has helped ensure their longevity in the Premier League under Dyche and when taking into account their aerial prowess, alongside the form of new signing Maxwel Cornet, the Clarets are more than capable of finding the net themselves here. Therefore, against an injury-hit visiting side, back Burnley to edge the three points but do so via the draw no bet market.
