THE LOWDOWN
BRIGHTON
- Brighton’s winless run in the Premier League extended to seven games last weekend as they were beaten 2-0 away at Aston Villa, conceding twice inside the last ten minutes to cap off a frustrating afternoon for Graham Potter’s side.
- First-choice keeper Robert Sanchez is likely to come back into the starting line-up after missing the Aston Villa match through suspension and Enock Mwepu may recover from a muscle strain in time to feature in some way, although both Stephen Alzate and Danny Welbeck remain out of action.
LEEDS UTD
- Despite injuries to plenty of key players, Leeds Utd put in an admirable performance against Tottenham last Sunday, taking the lead and dominating play for many periods of the match in North London, although it ultimately proved futile as they fell to a 2-1 defeat following two second half goals.
- Junior Firpo was named on the bench last Sunday and is pushing for a start while Raphinha and Rodrigo are fit and likely to feature, but Luke Ayling, Robin Koch and Patrick Bamford are set to narrowly miss out.

THE PREDICTION
Despite their loss in the Capital last weekend, Leeds Utd put in a hugely encouraging performance when considering the players that they had unavailable, constantly causing a threat going forward and retaining possession extremely well. Provided they put in a similar performance against Brighton, then they are more than capable of picking up at least a point. The Seagulls have lost their way slightly in recent games, seeing plenty of the ball, but ultimately not proving potent enough in front of goal. Whilst the hosts remain a strong team, it would not be surprising if confidence was low within the Brighton camp and a window of opportunity may well be there for Leeds Utd to capitalise on. With that in mind, consider backing the visitors to gain at least a draw from this fixture, if not all three points via the double chance market.
Tip: DOUBLE CHANCE – LEEDS UTD OR DRAW
