THE LOWDOWN
BRIGHTON
- Brighton resumed their Premier League campaign in impressive fashion with a 1-3 victory at fellow south coast side Southampton, and that is now three wins from their last four games in the division.
- Moises Caicedo sits this one out after receiving his fifth caution of the campaign against the Saints, while World Cup winner Alex Mac Allister remains absent due to his extended leave.
ARSENAL
- There were fears that the World Cup may halt Arsenal’s superb form but the league leaders silenced those doubters – at least for the time being – with a 3-1 victory over London rivals West Ham on Boxing Day.
- As he has done many times this season, Mikel Arteta could well go with an unchanged line-up although Oleksandr Zinchenko is a candidate to come into the side at the expense of Kieran Tierney at left-back.

THE PREDICTION
For some time now, pundits have predicted that Arsenal would suffer a dip in form that would allow reigning champions Man City to reel them in at the top of the table. So far though, that has not been the case as Mikel Arteta’s men have stood up to every challenge. This will be another test for them, as Brighton – three wins from their last four Premier League games – are operating well under Roberto De Zerbi. The Seagulls have found the net in their last five Premier League games, and they will fancy their chances of breaching the Gunners rearguard on home turf. The visitors have scored in every league game this season though, so both teams to score is the tip.
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
