THE LOWDOWN
BRENTFORD
- Brentford fell to a disappointing 3-1 loss at Turf Moor against Burnley last weekend and a response is expected from Thomas Frank’s men here as they face the bottom-placed side in the Premier League.
- After remaining on the bench against the Clarets due to a knock, Bryan Mbeumo is expected to be restored back into the Bees’ starting line-up, although they will be without usual first-choice goalkeeper David Raya and centre-back Kristoffer Ajer.
NORWICH
- Norwich’s 1-2 loss at home to Leeds Utd last time means that they remain without a win and remain rock bottom of this season’s Premier League with a pitiful two points to their name after ten matches.
- Defenders Sam Byram and Christoph Zimmermann will miss this one alongside captain Grant Hanley and attacking midfielder Todd Cantwell, whilst centre-back Ozan Kabak will face a late fitness test having developed glandular fever.

THE PREDICTION
Despite only being in November, it already feels like Norwich are doomed when it comes to Premier League survival in 2021-22. They are yet to score away from home in this season’s top flight and that shows no signs of changing soon. Brentford come into this game on the back of successive league defeats, but provided their defence maintains their discipline and doesn’t concede any unenforced errors that could give Norwich the chance to score then the Bees should fashion enough clear-cut opportunities to pick up the three points in this one.
