THE LOWDOWN
BRENTFORD
- Brentford extended their losing run to six in all competitions last time out, losing 2-0 away to league leaders Man City, although the Bees can take heart from their efforts, restricting City to a limited number of opportunities for a team boasting the offensive quality that they have.
- New signing Christian Eriksen did not feature at the Etihad Stadium and won't be ready for this one either as he continues to build up his fitness, although Thomas Frank will be hoping that both Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney are both passed fit to play on Saturday.
CRYSTAL PALACE
- Crystal Palace were forced to come from behind against Norwich in midweek, drawing 1-1 at Carrow Road and may well have picked up all three points had Wilfried Zaha not missed a penalty with the scores level in the second half.
- Only Nathan Ferguson is expected to be absent for the Eagles, with Cheikhou Kouyate potentially returning to the fold in this encounter following his Africa Cup of Nations triumph with Senegal.

THE PREDICTION
Crystal Palace will no doubt sense an opportunity to capitalise on Brenford’s terrible run of form, with a lack of confidence likely to sweeping through the Bees dressing room right now. Although home advantage is in Brentford, this could suit Crystal Palace with the pace they possess going forward and following a disappointing draw away at Norwich, the Eagles are expected to react strongly. With Zaha back in the fold and plenty of strength-in-depth for Patrick Viera to call upon, consider backing Crystal Palace to emerge victorious here, but do so via the safety of the draw no bet market.
Tip: CRYSTAL PALACE DRAW NO BET
