THE LOWDOWN
BOURNEMOUTH
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth continued their magnificent form last weekend with The Cherries hammering Manchester United by three goals to nil at Old Trafford. That victory simply continued their excellent form in the Premier League as they try and march themselves towards the top-half of the table before Christmas.
Bournemouth have now picked up four victories and a draw in their last five matches with that one draw coming against title challenging Aston Villa in a game in which they conceded a late equaliser in the second-half. The fluency and flow that Iraola implemented at Rayo Vallecano is beginning to be shown at the Vitality Stadium now.
LUTON
Rob Edwards has got his Luton Town side playing competitively but still seemingly destined for the drop down at the bottom end of the table. They took a 3-2 lead against last season’s runners’ up Arsenal but lost 4-3 and then five days later took a 1-0 lead against last season’s treble winners Manchester City but eventually lost 2-1.
The Hatters begin this match day sitting four points behind Everton in the Premier League table, who are currently the 17th placed team. They have proven themselves capable of bloodying the nose of any team in the division and they have scored in all but four of their games so far this season with an emphasis on set-pieces.
THE TEAM NEWS
BOURNEMOUTH
There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for Andoni Iraola with the former Athletic Club defender confirming there would also be no returning players ahead of this weekend’s visit of Luton Town.
That means the likes of summer signings Max Aarons, Tyler Adams and Alex Scott, as well as Lloyd Kelly, Hamed Junior Traore, Ryan Fredericks, Darren Randolph and Emiliano Marcondes will still be absent for the hosts.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Neto; Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Cook, Christie; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Solanke
UNAVAILABLE: Randolph (Illness), Aarons (Injured), Kelly (Injured), Scott (Injured), Adams (Injured), Fredericks (Injured), Traore (Illness), Marcondes (Injured)

LUTON
In his pre-match press conference, Rob Edwards confirmed that both Gabriel Osho and Chiedozie Ogbene, who missed last weekend’s loss at home to Manchester City, are fit and available for the trip down to the south coast this weekend.
He will, though, be without Zimbabwean international Marvelous Nakamba after the midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season last weekend and is suspended. Cauley Woodrow, Dan Potts and Reece Burke remain out injured, whilst Issa Kabore returns after being ineligible to face his parent club last weekend.
PREDICTED XI (3-4-2-1): Kaminski; Osho, Lockyer, Bell; Kabore, Chong, Barkley, Giles; Townsend, Brown; Adebayo
UNAVAILABLE: Nakamba (Suspended), Woodrow (Injured), Potts (Injured), Burke (Injured)

THE PREDICTION
On paper, Bournemouth taking on Luton Town in England’s top-flight seems a fairly fanciful thought but both teams will come into this one more than comfortable with their status and form. Whilst Luton have continued to drop points, they have punched above their weight to seem even remotely competitive in the Premier League; whilst Bournemouth took their time to adapt to Iraola but The Cherries are hitting their stride now and, especially with their home advantage, should come out on top in this one.
