BOURNEMOUTH TEAM NEWS: KEPA INELIGIBLE BUT BROOKS AND UNAL COULD FEATURE
Mark Travers is set to deputise in goal in the absence of Kepa Arrizabalaga, who cannot play against his parent club, while Dango Ouattara will play no part after picking up a knock on international duty.
Both David Brooks and Enes Unal have been training and could be involved in some capacity, but Tyler Adams is not close to a return yet.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Travers; Araujo, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez; Cook, Christie; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson
UNAVAILABLE: Kepa (Ineligible), Adams (Injured), Ouattara (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Brooks (Injured), Unal (Injured)
CHELSEA TEAM NEWS: RIGHT-BACK ISSUES, PALMER LIKELY TO FEATURE
Although Reece James has completed his suspension, injury will keep him out of this fixture along with fellow right-back Malo Gusto. On the other side of defence, Ben Chilwell is soon to resume training after failing to secure a move away from the club, although his involvement on the weekend would be a surprise.
The weekend will come too soon for Romeo Lavia, while Cole Palmer - who withdrew from international duty - is expected to feature after being spotted in team training.
PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Sanchez; Disasi, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson
UNAVAILABLE: Gusto (Injured), James (Injured), Lavia (Injured)
QUESTIONABLE: Chilwell (Out of favour), Kellyman (Injured), Palmer (Injured)
BOURNEMOUTH VS CHELSEA PREDICTION
This certainly has the potential to be one of the more entertaining Premier League fixtures of the weekend. Chelsea, for all the headlines they have been making for their off-the-field business, have looked impressive in the attacking areas this season, and scored six on their last away outing, but fragilities remain in their rearguard.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, are unbeaten in the league but have conceded in all four of their competitive games in 2024-25. Given these factors, it would be surprising if this wasn't a high-scoring affair.
