THE PREDICTION
Both these two sides took part in FA Cup action midweek, with Sheffield Utd progressing to the quarter-finals whilst West Ham bowed out after extra time after being beaten 1-0 by Man Utd. Here they lock horns in Premier League action with West Ham having won five of their last seven league matches and well within the hunt for European football next season. Sheffield Utd remain rooted to the bottom of the table and cast well adrift of safety, however Chris Wilder’s side have enjoyed a significantly improved run of results in recent weeks and won’t prove pushovers. Despite that though, the hosts boast significant strength going forward particularly in attacking midfield with the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Jesse Lingard impressing alongside the ever-dangerous Tomas Soucek. David Moyes’ men are expected to prove too strong for the Blades here, with West Ham likely to chalk up another three points in what has been an excellent Premier League campaign so far.
