THE PREDICTION
Since their month and a half of consistently tough fixtures, where they played four teams out of the top six, West Ham have plodded along and grinded out wins, with 1-0 victories over Fulham and Sheffield United. Aston Villa have come back down to earth following their impressive start, losing three out of their last five games, most recently a 2-1 loss to Brighton last week. That being said, Villa continue to pull out surprises, beating Arsenal 3-0 prior to their Brighton loss, therefore it’s difficult to call an outcome here. However, with two consecutive wins behind them, and just one defeat at home this season, West Ham may just edge this one.
