THE PREDICTION

Liverpool’s miserable recent run at Anfield continued in the worst possible way last Saturday as local rivals Everton turned up to the home of the defending Premier League champions and beat them on their own patch for the first time since 1999. The Reds have now lost their last four home league games, a scenario no one would have imagined possible going into this season. An away trip to bottom-placed Sheffield Utd represents a chance for Jurgen Klopp’s side to gain some confidence back. Despite being decimated by injuries, playing away from home should suit Liverpool, especially vs a side who have scored just 15 goals in the Premier League this season, the lowest of all 20 teams. With that in mind, Klopp’s men should come out on top in this one with their attacking likely proving too strong for Sheffield Utd to contend with.
