THE PREDICTION

Whilst bottom of the table Sheffield Utd may have suffered a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Tottenham last weekend, the Blades can take heart that their last home fixture saw them emerge 1-0 winners against Brighton. They’ll be hoping for a similar outcome here vs a struggling Crystal Palace. Roy Hodgson’s men come into this one following three successive Premier League defeats, but know that victory here would see them officially secure their top flight status for another season. However, the hosts have shown signs recently of not being the pushovers you would expect an already relegated side, which was proven by their win over Brighton. Therefore, a turgid affair may on the cards between two teams who despite lacking quality going forward, won’t be sucked into pushing extra bodies up the field and potentially being caught on the counter attack. With that in mind, consider under 2.5 goals scored in this one.

Tip: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
