THE PREDICTION

Chelsea will be looking to continue their brilliant unbeaten run on Saturday, which would make it seven consecutive games should they manage to avoid defeat against Newcastle. Steve Bruce’s men come into the game off the back of a 2-0 loss to Southampton and will be looking to rectify their mistakes but, as they will be well aware, it will be no easy feat. With Chelsea currently enjoying a fine spell of form, it will be a tough ask for Newcastle to break down Lampard’s side, but whatever the outcome, expect goals. Chelsea currently have an average of 2.5 goals scored per game, scoring three or more goals in six of their eight games played. Newcastle, on the other hand, have kept just one clean sheet so far this season, so expect Chelsea to try and capitalise on this.
