THE PREDICTION
Man City return to Premier League action following the international break with 14 point lead at the top of the Premier League table over Man Utd in second-place. Pep Guardiola’s side have responded well to defeat at the hands of their local rivals, winning their following four games in all competitions, racking up 12 goals in the process. A tough test likes ahead here against third-placed Leicester, who like City booked their place in the FA Cup semi-final last time out. The Foxes have won their last three in all-competitions, scoring ten goals over the course of those games, however whilst both of these sides have proven free-scoring as of late, a far tighter contest is expected here. As always, the main threat from a Man City perspective will be that of Leicester striker Jamie Vardy who loves a goal against Guardiola’s men. Should they manage to nullify Vardy then it will go a long way towards them ultimately picking up a vital three points in this one.
