THE PREDICTION

West Ham bounced back from defeat against Liverpool with a very impressive 1-3 victory away at Aston Villa this past Wednesday to maintain their place with the top five of the Premier League. David Moyes’ side will hope to back that up here against Fulham, who now sit eight points adrift of safety after losing 0-2 to Leicester. The Whites have now failed to win in 11 league matches and with survival looking more distant than ever, they will be forced to push extra bodies forward in an attempt to win this match with a draw doing little for their hopes of staying up. However, this could well prove costly with West Ham containing such a strong attacking midfield, with the likes of Jesse Lingard and Jarrod Bowen prime candidates to take advantage of any extra space afforded to them alongside forward Michail Antonio. Ultimately, the Hammers are expected to have too much quality going forward for Fulham to deal with and with Scott Parker’s side currently firing blanks in-front of goal at Craven Cottage, a West Ham victory looks on the cards in this one.
