THE PREDICTION
The Millwall players eased the pressure on manager Gary Rowett at the weekend thanks to a welcome 2-0 victory over West Brom, ending a run of three consecutive Championship defeats. However, in Preston they face an opponent in far better form and frame of mind than the Baggies having been beaten just once since Ryan Lowe took charge. The Lilywhites most recently salvaged a 2-2 draw at home to Bristol City courtesy of a last-minute equaliser and Millwall won’t be able to bully them in the same way they did West Brom. It won’t take much for the home crowd to get frustrated and Preston are more than capable of getting on the front foot early on and maintaining that momentum throughout this match.
