THE PREDICTION
It is the Neil Warnock derby. One of them, anyway. Cardiff City come into this on the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Fulham in midweek. That defeat means the Welsh side have now lost their last seven matches. That run of form has seen Mick McCarthy’s side collapse to just outside of the relegation zone. McCarthy’s tenure as Cardiff manager looks perilously close to being over. Neil Warnock has admitted his side is inconsistent. However, they come into this on the back of back-to-back 2-0 victories since they returned from the international break. They have played 13 matches in the league this season and only three of those matches have finished with more than two goals in the game - two of those three came in August, as well. Given that, as well as Cardiff’s poor form, under 2.5 goals seems very likely.
