THE PREDICTION
A hard fought 1-2 win away at Stoke this past Friday was Watford’s third successive Championship victory and saw the Hornets move up to third in the Championship table, trailing second placed Swansea on goal difference. As we move towards the business end of the season, Watford have picked an excellent time to go on a winning run and will hoping to continue that here against Millwall. Whilst Gary Rowett’s side won their most recent league game against Huddersfield, the Lions are coming off the back of a comprehensive 0-3 home defeat at the hands of Bristol City in the FA Cup third round. A lack of home fans has no doubt proven a negative impact on Rowett's men and Watford boast far superior strength in depth to Millwall, along with players of better individual quality. With that in mind, it would be a surprise if the visitors failed to come out on top in this game.
