THE PREDICTION
After a comfortable 4-1 triumph over Martinique in their opening Group B match, Canada are likely to face a stiffer challenge here against Haiti, who proved a stubborn opponent for USA despite going behind early on, losing by just that single goal. Ultimately though, with no points on the board Haiti may have to look at sacrificing some defensive stability in a bid to attack their opponents, knowing that they are vulnerable at the back having conceded vs Martinique. This may play into Canada’s hands, with more space for them to exploit and the counter attack and when you consider how strong they looked from an offensive point of view in their last game, it’s difficult not to see such firepower being able to lead Canada to a second successive CONCACAF Gold Cup victory.
