Colorado Rapids’ 3-1 defeat away to Real Salt Lake at the weekend was their second in their last three matches as they slightly fade away from a top-of-the-table challenge in the Western Conference. They remain firmly in the top seven and the playoff places ahead of this midweek’s round of fixtures. They now come up against a Seattle Sounders that sit atop of the table and were the other team to inflict defeat on Colorado in their last three games. The visitors did lose to strugglers Houston at the weekend, though. Neither side come into this on the back of a good result and a draw would appear a solid bet for this one.
