THE TEAM NEWS

SENEGAL

Aliou Cisse had an excellent start to the tournament with his selection paying off. Nicolas Jackson came off the bench with over half an hour as he continues to return to full fitness, whilst Ismaila Sarr picked up a minor knock in their defeat of Gambia.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): E.Mendy; Diatta, Koulibaly, Niakhate, Jakobs; Camara, Diallo, P.Gueye; I.Sarr, Jackson, Mane

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: Jackson (Injured), I.Sarr (Injured)

CAMEROON

Defender Christopher Wooh had a minor injury issue for the Cameroonians but the biggest selection issue for Rigobert Song to solve would be the return of goalkeeper Andre Onana, who missed their opener after arriving to the camp late due to staying with Manchester United.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Onana; Castelletto, Wooh, Moukoudi, Yongwa; Ntcham, Kemen, Anguissa; Magri, Ekambi, Nkoudou

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: Wooh (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

These are two of the strongest teams on the African continent. Cameroon finished third in the competition a couple of years ago, whilst Senegal went on to defeat Egypt in the final. The Senegalese began the defence of their title with a very impressive 3-0 defeat of Gambia on Monday afternoon. Cameroon were held to a 1-1 draw by a stubborn but ten-man Guinea side and a low-scoring Senegal victory would appear most likely for this one.

TIP: SENEGAL TO WIN & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
