THE TEAM NEWS

MAURITANIA

Lamine Ba had to be substituted in Mauritania’s slender and dramatic, late defeat to Burkina Faso the other day and so did former Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara so there are a couple of injury concerns for this one.

PREDICTED XI (4-4-2): Niasse; Keita, El Abd, Dellahi, Abeid; Thiam, Gassama, Fofana, Tanjy; Koita, Anne

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: L.Ba (Injured), Kamara (Injured)

ANGOLA

In their hard-fought but impressive 1-1 draw with Algeria the other day, Angola did have to replace midfielder Bruno Paz before half-time with a slight injury and his replacement, Mabululu, scored their equalising penalty so that should be a change from the off this time around.

PREDICTED XI (3-5-2): Neblu; Buatu, Gaspar, Kinito; Augusto, Fredy, Show, Mabululu, Fortuna; Luvumbo, Dala

UNAVAILABLE:

QUESTIONABLE: Paz (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

Mauritania suffered a couple of injuries in their opener against Burkina Faso the other day and they eventually lost that match with a 96th minute Bertrand Traore penalty separating the two sides. They now face an Angolan side that put in a creditable performance to earn an impressive 1-1 draw against an Algeria side that are seen as one of the major favourites for the title. Angola, under the management of Pedro Goncalves, are slight favourites for a game that is not expected to be an overly high-scoring thriller.

TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – ANGOLA TO WIN OR DRAW & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
