THE TEAM NEWS

GUINEA

Guinea are likely to be without defender Antonio Conte for this one, whilst team captain Naby Keita is also seemingly not fully fit. Forward, and captain for the day against Cameroon on Monday, Francois Kamano is suspended due to a red card he received in that one.

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Kone; Diakite, Diakhaby, Jeanvier, Sylla; Moriba, Keita; Guilavogui, Camara, Kante; Bayo

UNAVAILABLE: Kamano (Suspended)

QUESTIONABLE: A.Conte (Injured), Keita (Injured)

GAMBIA

Gambia and Tom Saintfiet had no injury issues or withdrawals before the tournament began but Gambia will be without Cardiff City midfielder, Ebou Adams, for this one as he received a straight red card against Senegal the other day.

PREDICTED XI (4-3-3): Gaye; Janko, Gomez, Colley, Touray; Manneh, Marreh, Darboe; Minteh, Sowe, Barrow

UNAVAILABLE: Adams (Suspended)

THE PREDICTION

At least one of Senegal or Cameroon will drop points on Friday and that will open the door for one of these two teams to take advantage. Guinea have the better squad and side and they showed that by, even being down to ten men, holding Cameroon to a 1-1 draw in their opening group stage encounter. Gambia are without Ebou Adams and will likely struggle, albeit they were only undone by a very slick and impressive Senegalese side. Guinea are favourites for this one but it could be quite a close contest.

TIP: GUINEA TO WIN & UNDER 3.5 GOALS
