THE PREDICTION

Nigeria edged Egypt out in their opening match of the tournament with a slender 1-0 victory. That victory was not necessarily undeserved, though, and that low-scoring scoreline flattered their opponents. The Super Eagles, with Kelechi Iheanacho leading the line up-front, will expect to win this one extremely comfortably against a Sudan side already badly depleted and even weaker now. This should be a comfortable Nigerian win - despite Sudan’s battling goalless draw against Guinea-Bissau in their opening match.
