THE PREDICTION

Aboubakar Kamara, formerly of Fulham, will be forced to be Mauritania’s key player and their leading light up-front. Mauritania look to be one of the weakest sides in the competition but have been drawn into a relatively kind group alongside Gambia, Mali and Tunisia. Gambia will be focusing on their right-hand side with Saidy Janko and Musa Barrow looking to be a really potent double threat. Modou Barrow and Ebrima Colley, as well as defender Omar Colley, also form part of a relatively strong Gambian side, in terms of European football pedigree. Gambia will come into this as the favourites.
