THE LOWDOWN
GHANA
- Ghana overcame South Korea in a five-goal thriller to keep their hopes of advancing to the next round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup alive but they need another positive result here to have any chance of finishing in the top two.
- The Ghanaians have now scored five goals in their two games to date but have also conceded the same number so it could well be they look to rely on their attack in this contest with an unchanged side potentially set to be named.
URUGUAY
- Uruguay were beaten by Portugal to leave their future participation in the tournament hanging by a thread and if they are to advance to the knockout stages, they will have to improve in front of goal.
- They are yet to find the back of the net in their two games to date so changes could be made up front with Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani struggling to impress so Darwin Nunez may be joined in attack by Maxi Gomez.

THE PREDICTION
Ghana have been entertaining to watch in this FIFA World Cup but they will hope that is not all they are remembered for. They know a win in this game with Uruguay would ensure that they advance to the next round while a point may well be enough too. They take on a Uruguay side that have been poor going forward and are yet to find the back of the net. That is in stark contrast to the Ghanaians who have bagged five times and their enterprise in the final third should be enough to claim a positive result from this matchup.
TIP: DOUBLE CHANCE – GHANA OR DRAW
