THE PREDICTION
This quarter-final tie is wide open between Randers and Vejle after a 0-0 in the first leg last month and the tables may have turned here with the visitors in the better form. Last month Randers had just broke a superb unbeaten run of eight matches over all competitions but they are now seven games without a win, including the first leg, and slowly but surely falling away in the Superliga. Vejle were not in any greater shape until a 2-0 win at home to OB on Sunday handed them a first league win in four to see them just four points behind Randers in the league table. This is a knockout match now with little to show for a winner and so the temptation is to pick this match to go all the way to penalties. Randers have won both the league meetings this season by an aggregate of 6-1 but their form now leaves this totally up in the air. A tight first leg suggests goals could be at a premium in normal time here and so both teams not to score in normal time looks a reasonable outcome for this difficult match.
