Flavio Cobolli vs Damir Dzumhur prediction

Flavio Cobolli made it through to the semi-finals with a tight two-set win over qualifier Filip Misolic. The Italian struggled with his first serve again, only managing 49%, but did create numerous opportunities on the Austrian’s serve and is heading in the right direction after a very disappointing start to the season.

Damir Dzumhur’s match against Pedro Martinez ended abruptly, as the Spanish second seed was forced to retire after picking up an injury. The Bosnian raced through the first set to win it 6-1 and had already broken the Spaniard’s serve in the second before he withdrew. His recent form is strong as he aims for a first tournament win of the season.

These two have never played each other before, but despite Cobolli being the higher ranked of the two, Dzumhur is playing at a more impressive level. He was dictating the majority of rallies in the first set against Martinez and has enjoyed some deep runs in recent tournaments. We’re backing him to advance.
