Fiorentina vs Genoa Prediction
Prior to last weekend’s trip to the Stadio Olimpico to face Lazio, Fiorentina were on a seven-match winless run of form across all competitions that had seen them slip out of the top five in Serie A. However, they defeated Lazio by two goals to one last weekend thanks to goals from Yacine Adli, who was sent off mid-way through the second-half, and Lucas Beltran. They now face a Genoa side that have been impressive since the appointment of Vieira with the Genovese’s 2-0 defeat of Monza last weekend means they have suffered just one defeat in their last five matches and two losses in Vieira’s ten games in charge. That form, as well as Fiorentina’s naturally attacking but inconsistent style of football means both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one.
