Fatima Kline: 24-year-old American talent looking for first UFC victory
Fatima Kline (6-1) earned her shot in the UFC after winning all six of her pro MMA fights in Invicta and Cage Fury Championships, but she lost on her debut in the Octagon in July last year. Jasmine Jasudavicius beat her via unanimous decision at UFC on ESPN 59 as she handed Kline her first loss. Kline should not be too disheartened by that and the 24-year-old has plenty of potential to continue developing. She will look to bounce back and register her first win in the promotion at the Apex.
Victoria Dudakova: Russian strawweight seeking to bounce back from first career loss
Victoria Dudakova (8-1) started her pro MMA career reeling off eight successive wins but she suffered her first loss last time out. After the Russian won through Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2022, Dudakova won her first two fights in the Octagon but she lost a split decision at the hands of Sam Hughes last August. The 25-year-old will now look to bounce back and get back to winning ways against Kline.

We have a really good women’s strawweight fight between two rising talents who have great potential, but both are coming off their first career losses. One of the best things about the UFC is their matchmaking and there is no chance they will try inflate a fighters’ resume at the expense of a good fight and that is what we have here.
Kline has risen up to the UFC and looks like she could develop well. This fight will be important to her but it is not an easy one.
Dudakova has a fraction more experience and has looked more impressive in her relatively short career so far. She has decent power and good submission skills that provide her with a variety of ways to win.
We have to side with Dudakova in this one. Her CV gives her the edge and we favour her to bounce back with a win. This is one to be approach with caution however given the fact both fighters are relative novices.
