TEAM NEWS & PREDICTED LINE-UPS

ARSENAL

• Unai Emery has only the one injury concern ahead of the weekend fixture against Leicester with Daniel Ceballos (£5.4m) being ruled out: “He has a small injury and is going to be out for tomorrow. The rest of the squad, I think they are ready for tomorrow. We are going to train this afternoon and I am thinking, I am speaking with the doctor, they are ready.”
• In addition to Ceballos, Emery has once again ruled Granit Xhaka (£5.2m) out of the matchday squad: “I spoke with him. I spoke with him on Tuesday about how he's feeling now and how he is in his mind. He's working well, he's training well, but he said to me that he's not feeling good enough at the moment to play. We are going to wait.”
• On the possibility of Mesut Ozil (£7.2m) starting a second league match in succession, the manager remained tight-lipped: “He's training well and I think he's now being consistent in the training, he's also helping and he's also positive. I am thinking about him for tomorrow, for the possibility to play.”

ASTON VILLA

• Dean Smith has had his say over the fitness of Jack Grealish (£5.9m), who the manager rates as 50/50 ahead of the weekend: "He's still got a lot of pain. He's certainly physically OK, he's been doing an awful lot of work in the swimming pool, we just need to make sure he can get through a training session tomorrow. So we are hopeful, but it's a 50/50 one at the moment."
• Outside of Grealish, Smith has stated “everyone else seems to be fine.” This would seem to indicate that both Frederic Guilbert (£4.4m) and Jota (£5.8m) appear to have overcome their respective ailments and should be available for selection.

BOURNEMOUTH

• Eddie Howe has reported his side have no new injury concerns ahead of the trip to Newcastle. The likes of David Brooks (£6.3m), Junior Stanislas (£5.9m), Charlie Daniels (£4.3m) and Andrew Surman (£4.7m) are all still unavailable: "Elsewhere, there's no David Brooks, no Charlie Daniels, no Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman is still out too, so we're missing some key players but the squad is still in good shape."
• On a more positive note, midfielder Dan Gosling (£4.9m) is making excellent progress as he continues his road to recovery: "He's trained this week and has trained well. We're really pleased with his progress.”
• After four league matches without a win, Bournemouth beat Man Utd 1-0 last weekend. Given the nature of the result, it would be a surprise if Howe made too many changes to the team that started that match. One enforced change will be in midfield where Jefferson Lerma (£4.8m) is suspended. Lewis Cook (£5.0m) would appear the obvious replacement.

BRIGHTON

• Adam Webster (£4.4m) will miss the match against Man Utd and could be out for up to six weeks with ankle ligament damage. His absence should allow the goal threat that is Shane Duffy (£4.9m) an extended run in the starting XI: “Adam Webster has injured his ankle ligaments, he has had a good week and responded well - but he won’t be available for the game on Sunday.” In addition to Webster, Graham Potter is still set to be without Jose Izquierdo (£5.4m) and Bernardo (£4.3m).
• Midfielder Leandro Trossard (£5.8m) could be in line for his first start since August after impressing from the bench in recent weeks: "He has done well recently and had two appearances off the bench. He was out for a long time and it's about building him up. We've used him well and he's contributed to the side's recent success."

BURNLEY

• Sean Dyche is confident that Chris Wood (£6.2m) will be available for the weekend after saying he “has got has got every chance of being involved” when probed on the matter. Given he was “really close” last weekend, expect Wood to come straight back into the first team at the expense of either Ashley Barnes (£6.3m) or Jay Rodriguez (£5.7m).
• In other injury related news, Johann Berg Gudmundsson (£5.9m) is still out but Phil Bardsley (£4.3m) has returned to training this week. Another who is building his way back to fitness is midfielder Danny Drinkwater (£4.4m), who is back in training and has been given a program over the next few weeks in order to being him up to full speed.
• After the 3-0 humbling at the hands of Sheffield Utd last time out, Dyche has spoken about the need to not overreact following one poor performance but has accepted that last Saturday was not good enough: “As a team we have to take the knocks. I don’t think one result makes it not a good start to the season. Sometimes you have to be realistic, it was a poor performance.” Never one to chop and change too heavily, don’t expect too many alterations to the starting XI at the weekend.

CHELSEA

• Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has provided an injury update on Mason Mount (£6.9m), who needed to be withdrawn early midweek with an ankle injury: “Mason is in the squad. We will give him another 24 hours and make a call on that.” What might help the midfielder’s prospects of starting is that Ross Barkley (£5.6m) will not be in the squad on Saturday.
• Another player who will miss the match on Saturday is midfielder Jorginho (£5.1m), who is suspended. In his absence, N’Golo Kante (£5.0m) could make his first start since GW8 after being allocated a place on the bench for the Champions League tie against Ajax on Tuesday.
• Outside of Mount and Jorginho, Lampard also discussed the situation surrounding Antonio Rudiger (£6.0m): “He had an operation, he is out for three weeks and then we will see about his match fitness. Hopefully in three weeks’ time we will know more. You do well to cope without big players.”

CRYSTAL PALACE

• Roy Hodgson has a clean bill of health ahead of the Saturday lunchtime match against Chelsea as James McArthur (£5.3m), Andros Townsend (£5.6m), Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) and Connor Wickham (£4.5m) have all been passed fit for the weekend: "For the first time in a very long time I have a completely full contingent to choose from, an abundance of riches if you like in picking the XI and subs."
• The injury news means that Gary Cahill (£4.5m) and Cheikhou Kouyate (£4.9m) have recovered from their collision earlier in the week and are both also available for selection.

EVERTON

• Midfielder Fabian Delph (£5.4m) is a major doubt for Everton’s match against Southampton at the weekend. The absence of Delph would leave Marco Silva with a shortage of choice in midfield as Andre Gomes (£5.3m) and Jean-Philippe Gbamin (£4.8m) are also missing. Given the lack of options, Morgan Schneiderlin (£4.4m) will be hoping to regain his position alongside Tom Davies (£5.3m) at the base of Everton’s midfield.
• Further forward, Bernard (£6.5m) is still missing although he is expected to be back after the international break, while Gylfi Sigurdsson (£7.5m) could be brought back into the starting XI after being benched in recent weeks. Michael Keane (£5.4m) is another who will be hoping for a recall after losing his place to Mason Holgate (£4.4m) last weekend.

LEICESTER

• Brendan Rodgers has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of their GW12 match against Arsenal. Having named the same starting XI in Leicester’s last three league matches and given the excellent run of form the club find themselves on, it would be a surprise if Rodgers made any changes to the starting XI on Sunday.
• The manager also provided an update on long-term absentee Matty James (£4.3m), who is still yet to recover from an Achilles injury: "Matty has been out with the squad. He’s doing certain elements of training and then he’ll go away and do his individual work. Apart from everyone else who is fit and fine, he’s a miss.”

LIVERPOOL

• Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that both Virgil van Dijk (£6.4m) and Jordan Henderson (£5.4m) have overcome their respective issues and will be fit to face Man City on Sunday: “Virg was for other reasons not here but he is completely fine. Jordan is completely fine.”
• With the manager clearing up the news on Van Dijk and Henderson, only Joel Matip (£5.4m), Xherdan Shaqiri (£6.3m) and Nathaniel Clyne (not in FPL) are set to be unavailable: “Joel is still out, like Shaq and like Clyney. That’s it, probably.” Subsequently there is no doubt over the fitness of Mo Salah (£12.3m), who played the full 90 against Genk on Tuesday.
• After being rested last time out, midfielder Fabinho (£5.5m) is expected to be recalled to the starting XI in what should be close to a full-strength Liverpool XI.

MAN CITY

• The big injury news from the Man City camp is that goalkeeper Ederson (£6.1m) will not be available for the top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool. In the Brazilian's absence, Claudio Bravo (£4.8m) is set to start between the sticks: “He’s not available. We have another top keeper. Bravo can do it too, we won the Carabao Cup thanks to him, he’s an exceptional goalkeeper, he played a lot of games for Chile.”
• Pep may opt for a 3-5-2 formation given Liverpool’s recent struggles against the system. Sheffield Utd in GW5, Man Utd in GW11 and even Genk in the midweek Champions League match had some success against the Reds playing this system. Equally, he could line-up in a 4-1-4-1 as he did in the equivalent fixture last season. Either way, the manager has spoken about the potential need to adapt his line-up: “Sometimes when the opponents are as good as Liverpool you have to adapt. I was more defensive with Bayern Munich when we went to Dortmund and won 3-0, that was incredibly defensive. The plan at Anfield wasn’t like this.”
• Sergio Aguero (£12.0m) started the midweek Champions League match on the bench before replacing Gabriel Jesus (£9.5m) on the 73-minute mark. The extended break could mean Aguero is favourite for the start but in reality it could be either of the two forwards that gets the nod.
• There was no update provided on the fitness of David Silva (£7.7m), but the midfielder is expected to miss out after originally being ruled out for 10-12 days when the injury occurred last weekend. His absence may require Bernardo Silva (£7.9m) to play in midfield, or Fernandinho (£5.2m) to move out of the back four and into the midfield holding role - if Pep decides to play 4-3-3.

MAN UTD

• Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is “hopeful” that both Scott McTominay (£5.1m) and Victor Lindelof (£5.4m) will be fit for their Sunday match against Brighton. Lindelof missed Utd’s midweek Europa League tie with a back injury, while McTominay was brought off early in that match with an ankle injury: “Hopefully Scott. Hopefully Victor as well, but I don’t know because he hasn’t trained this week. It’s his back.”
• With Ashley Young (£5.4m) set to miss out through suspension, there is growing speculation that teenager Brandon Williams (£4.0m) will earn his first league start for Man Utd in GW12: "There are options. I’m not going to give the team out now. Ashley is suspended and I felt we needed a strong team tonight and an experienced team. We just wanted the win."
• Daniel James (£6.2m), David de Gea (£5.5m) and Andreas Pereira (£5.0m) were all rested midweek and the trio are expected to return to the starting XI. That said, OGS was impressed with Juan Mata (£6.2m) on Thursday and he could get the nod in the No. 10 role.

NEWCASTLE

• On the injury front, Steve Bruce has ruled Fabian Schar (£5.0m) and Matt Ritchie (£5.3m) out of the match against Bournemouth this weekend, though is hopeful both will be back after the international break: “Ritchie has suffered a setback and won't make this weekend. It's a little bit of a concern because he was going along so well and unfortunately he’s had a reaction to training."
• Florian Lejeune (£4.4m) continued his rehabilitation with a run-out for the development squad earlier in the week. Bruce is hopeful to have the Frenchman back after the break.
• Isaac Hayden (£4.4m) and Jonjo Shelvey (£5.0m) are set to continue in the centre of midfield as Sean Longstaff (£5.0m) continues his suspension as he serves of the second of his three-match ban.

NORWICH

• Daniel Farke has confirmed that a number of players who were nursing knocks or injuries last week are set to return either before and after the international break. Both Todd Cantwell (£4.7m) and Ibrahim Amadou (£4.5m) have recovered from their respective injuries that saw the pair relegated to the bench last time out. Meanwhile, Grant Hanley (£4.0m) and Christoph Zimmermann (£4.4m) are expected to return following the international break.
• The manager has also confirmed that Mario Vrancic (£6.2m) is an option for the weekend, though given his comments it is more likely to be from the bench: "Mario Vrancic, since two and a half weeks, consistently on the training pitch. He's not fit for 90 minutes but at least a topic for the squad. It's good to have him at least as an option."

SHEFFIELD UTD

• Chris Wilder has once again played it coy over any potential injuries in his squad, simply stating: "We've got a couple who are hopefully going to train today and who will travel tomorrow afternoon." The main concern will be around defender John Egan (£4.5m), who was taken off early in GW11 after suffering a knock. If Egan fails to recover, it could mean a first start of the season for Phil Jagielka (£4.2m) who replaced Egan against Burnley.
• With a trio of assists, Lys Mousset (£4.9m) is likely to keep his place in the starting XI for another week. With his partnership alongside David McGoldrick (£5.4m) starting to blossom, Oliver McBurnie (£5.8m) and Callum Robinson (£5.3m) look set to remain on the bench.

SOUTHAMPTON

• Ralph Hassenhuttl only has one confirmed absentee ahead of the match against Everton at the weekend, as Ryan Bertrand (£4.8m) serves out the final game of his three-match suspension: "We have all players on board now, so we have more options. Ryan Bertrand is still suspended but everyone else is available.”
• As Bertrand is the only absentee, this means that both Cedric Soares (£4.8m) and Moussa Djenepo (£5.2m) will be available for selection:
  "So far good; Moussa is back, Cedric is back. "Moussa is one of the only guys who has scored important goals for us so far, so he's a big option for the weekend. He gives our game a new part, which we've missed. He can be a boost for us."
• Hassenhuttl has discussed how he has been pleased with the effort and defensive organisation in the two matches against Man City but that they “need more qualities for winning.” This statement could see Hassenhuttl switch from the 5-3-2 to a more attacking 3-4-3, as he goes in search of points against 17^th-placed Everton.

SPURS

• On the injury front, both Jan Vertonghen (£5.3m) and Erik Lamela (£5.8m) are still unavailable for the weekend. Both are expected to return following the international break. Hugo Lloris (£5.4m) remains their only long-term absentee.
• Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) is set to start after having his last weekend's red card overturned on appeal. Another who is available for the weekend is left-back Danny Rose (£5.4m), who is set to return following his ban.
• After an impressive display midweek, Mauricio Pochettino was asked about the possibility of Giovani Lo Celso (£7.3m) starting: "I need to assess tomorrow morning, it is a very short period to recover. Some players suffer some small issues and are maybe not fresh enough to play. We are going to play three games in six days."

WATFORD

• Quique Sánchez Flores has a fit-again Troy Deeney (£6.2m) at his disposal ahead of their Friday night match against Norwich. After hard work, Deeney has returned ahead of schedule and the manager must now decide whether to throw him straight in from the start in what is a must-win fixture: “He's ready to come to the group and go to the list. “He is ready and we will make the final decision. It's very good news.”
• There was more good news on the injury front as, in addition to Deeney, Jose Holebas (£4.7m), Ismaila Sarr (£6.2m), Etienne Capoue (£4.8m) and Sebastian Prodl (£4.0m) have all returned to training and are available for selection: “We have Holebas, Capoue, Prödl, Sarr – players who have recovered in the week - and now we have more options. It's good for the team.”
• There was no update provided on defender Craig Cathcart (£4.4m) who went off early last week with a knock. Cathcart was replaced by Adrian Mariappa (£4.2m) in GW11 and the defender is likely to keep is spot if Cathcart is absent.

WEST HAM

• Manuel Pellegrini has said he is set to evaluate the fitness of Jack Wilshere (£4.7m) ahead of the weekend trip to Burnley: “With Jack Wilshere, we will have to evaluate him for Saturday – we need to see him working tomorrow.” Another midfielder, Michail Antonio (£6.9m), is expected to return to full fitness following the international break: “About Antonio, I think that after the international break he will be ready.”
• Winston Reid (£3.9m) continued his return to fitness with a run-out for the U23s midweek but it is still likely to be a little time before he is back available for the first team: “Winston Reid has played some minutes for the Under-23s. He’s now continuing to prepare to play a complete game.”
• Pellegrini also provided an update on goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (£5.0m), who has been sidelined since GW8: “Lukasz Fabianski needs more time,” Pellegrini confirmed. “He needs at least one month more, or a month and a half.”

WOLVES

• Nuno Espirito Santo made a number of changes for the midweek Europa League Cup fixture as Jonny (£5.4m), Roman Saiss (£4.4m) and Diogo Jota (£6.1m) were all rotated out of the starting XI. Expect all to be recalled for the weekend.
• Other than the injury to Willy Boly (£4.9m), Wolves have a fully-fit squad to choose from for the Midlands Derby against Aston Villa.
