FPL Gameweek 3 – head-to-head comparisons: Heung-Min Son vs Raheem Sterling
It was a truly incredible Gameweek 2 for both Heung-Min Son (£9.0m) and his FPL owners. The Spurs midfielder scored four goals in their 2-5 win away at Southampton and racked up an incredible 24 FPL points for all those fortunate enough to have him in their team. Raheem Sterling (£11.5m) didn't have quite the same impact for Man City against Wolves, but the England international did provide an assist in City's 1-3 victory at Molineux.
Both players are gearing up for home matches in Gameweek 3. Spurs face Newcastle, whilst Man City host Leicester. Sterling will be hoping to get off the mark for the season after scoring 20 league goals in 2019-20. However, at £2.5m cheaper and in terrific form following his four goals against Southampton, Son takes preference for us in this one with him playing a Newcastle side coming off the back of a 0-3 defeat at home to Brighton.
