FPL Gameweek 3 – head-to-head comparisons: Dominic Calvert-Lewin vs Danny Ings
These two forwards scored an impressive five goals between them in Gameweek 2. Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£7.2m) netted a hat-trick for Everton and accrued 17 FPL points in their 5-2 win over West Brom, whilst despite Danny Ings (£8.4m) being on the end of a 2-5 defeat against Spurs, the Southampton forward scored both his sides' goals, picking up 11 FPL points.
The two strikers hit the road in Gameweek 3, with Calvert-Lewin's Everton away to Crystal Palace and Ings' Southampton facing a trip to Burnley. Whilst both represent high FPL value, Calvert-Lewin being £1.2m cheaper than Ings leads us to favour him as the more financially savvy FPL pick of the two.
