FPL Gameweek 2 – head-to-head comparisons: Mo Salah vs Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
If you were an owner of Mo Salah (£12.0m) then it's safe to say that you had a Gameweek 1 to remember. Three goals and 20 FPL points in Liverpool's thrilling 4-3 win against newly promoted Leeds sees the Egyptian set the tone as the highest FPL points scorer after the first gameweek of the season. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£12.0m) didn't hit the same highs as Salah in Gameweek 1, however the most captained player of the round did find the net and bring home 7 FPL points in Arsenal's 0-3 win over Fulham.
Whilst Aubameyang has the better fixture on paper, with Arsenal hosting West Ham in Gameweek 2 compared to Liverpool away at Chelsea. We're finding it very hard to not favour the man in red hot form who looked so incredibly sharp against Leeds. However, with news during the week that Aubameyang has extended his contract with the Gunners, we're backing the Arsenal skipper to celebrate with a big points haul against the Hammers.
