A depleted Liverpool defence was somewhat restored as Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.2m) took the place of Neco Williams for the final third of Liverpool's resounding victory against Wolves.

While Andy Robertson (£7.2) has maintained his impressive performance level throughout his partner in crime's absence, Liverpool will inevitably be more dangerous over the festive period with a revitalised Trent added to their already thriving attack. It took less than ten minutes for Trent to set-up Sadio Mane for a sitter with a delightful cross that was a nostalgic sight for Liverpool fans who have yet to see the extent of Trent's incredible abilities this campaign. While the Senegalese international proceeded to bundle it in with the defenders help costing Trent the assist in the process, it was simply an oversight of the potential FPL returns Trent will offer in the coming fixtures.

Robertson is enjoying a steady start to the season having achieved a potentially underwhelming 3 assists; perhaps a victim of the higher standards he has set for himself due to his prior performances in that department. His returns have perhaps been curtailed by Mane who has been dismal in front of goal in recent weeks, failing to score in Liverpool's last six.

The emergence of Neco Williams as a capable first-team player for Liverpool casts an ominous threat that Trent may fall victim to rotation in coming weeks. While Trent is an attractive differential, back Robertson to outscore him over the festive period beginning with a visit to Craven Cottage this weekend.

Verdict: Andy Robertson
