FPL Gameweek 12 – Power Rankings (Midfielders)

1. Christian Pulisic (£7.3m) – vs Crystal Palace (H)

Since breaking into the starting XI, Christian Pulisic has been a revelation for Chelsea. A hat-trick in Gameweek 10 was followed by another goal in Gameweek 11 against Watford, giving 'Captain America' a staggering 29 FPL points from his last two matches. Crystal Palace at Stamford are his opponents in Gameweek 12 and have conceded seven goals already this season against the three other London sides away from home.

2. James Maddison (£7.4m) – vs Arsenal (H)

Leicester’s James Maddison continued his strong recent form for the Foxes. His 9 FPL point haul against Crystal Palace in Gameweek 12 following his assist and awarding of maximum bonus points means he now has 36 points in the last five gameweeks he has started. With a defensively dodgy Arsenal to visit the King Power Stadium in Gameweek 12, Maddison could be set to continue his good form.

3. Dele Alli (£8.4m) – vs Sheffield Utd (H)

After being sidelined for the majority of the season through injury, Dele Alli has returned strongly for Spurs, scoring in two of the last three gameweeks, including most recently in Gameweek 11 against Everton. Spurs are at home to Sheffield Utd in Gameweek 12 and have scored 10 goals in their first five home games so far this season.

4. Sadio Mane (£12.0m) – vs Man City (H)

Sadio Mane continued his excellent recent form with an assist and goal netting him 12 FPL points in Gameweek 11 against Aston Villa. He now has six goals and four assists this season and is turning out to be fixture proof as the highest FPL scoring midfield player so far this season. He faces Man City in a big top-of-the-table clash at Anfield in Gameweek 12.

5. Anthony Martial (7.6m) – vs Brighton (H)

Anthony Martial continued his return from injury in Gameweek 11, starting his second successive Premier League game away at Bournemouth. Despite not scoring, Martial looked dangerous playing in the strikers role and with three goals in his five Premier League starts this season, will look to get back on the goal trail in Gameweek 12 at home to Brighton.

NOTABLE MENTIONS
Everton midfielder Richarlison (£7.9m) faces a Southampton side who lost 0-9 in their last game at St Mary's. Another Leicester midfielder, Harvey Barnes (£5.9m), has registered four assists in his last three games and faces a defensively fragile Arsenal. Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) of Spurs had his red card against Everton in Gameweek 11 overturned and is clear to face Sheffield Utd in Gameweek 12 off the back of an impressive performance in the Champions League midweek.
