FPL Gameweek 12 – head-to-head comparisons: Heung-Min Son vs Jack Grealish
Heung-Min Son (£9.6m) was influential in a commanding Spurs display in the North London derby last Sunday, scoring the first and assisting with partner in crime Harry Kane for their second. The South Korean is by far the highest-scoring player in the game right now and as of writing is owned by almost 60% of FPL managers. Jack Grealish (£7.7m) did not take a drop in price despite his fixture against Newcastle being called off last Friday and that suggests his owners have faith in him. With five goals and six assists, you can see why.
Grealish will play away to one of Aston Villa’s numerous West Midlands rivals, Wolves, with a penchant for playing the “Villan” of the piece in matches like this. The presence of home fans should only spur him on and he will be eager to play the side that just conceded four goals to Liverpool. He would win most comparisons, but we just cannot look past Son’s incredible form. 10 goals and three assists so far this season, and an imperious connection with eight-goals-10-assists Harry Kane, makes him our pick to score more points against Crystal Palace.
