Fabian Marozsan vs Jiri Lehecka Prediction

Fabian Marozsan has had a solid start to 2025 and he will be hoping to continue that in Doha this week. The Hungarian beat Aziz Dougaz 7-5 6-3 on Monday in the first round and it could have been much more comprehensive if he was more ruthless with his return game as he only took two of the 13 break points he generated.

He now meets Jiri Lehecka who he will not be able to be as wasteful against if he is to have any chance of beating. The Czech star knocked out seventh-seed Grigor Dimitrov in the first round and it was a really solid performance by Lehecka.

The pair have met once before back in 2023 as Marozsan won 4-6 6-1 7-6 on clay in Rome but this is a different Lehecka now and on hard courts too.

We like Lehecka right now and the Czech 23-year-old has started the year well. He is looking strong and will threaten some of the top seeds in Doha this week. We do not expect Marozsan to pose him too many problems and he should progress.
