Everton Preview: Toffees improving
After losing his first game back at Goodison Park against Aston Villa, Everton have now enjoyed an eight-match unbeaten run of form as they comfortably move themselves away from the bottom three and the relegation places in the Premier League.
The Toffees were fairly underwhelming in their most recent outing but, again, were difficult to beat against struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers. They went ahead via Jack Harrison in that game before Marshall Munetsi equalised for Wolves a few minutes later.
West Ham Preview: Hammers struggling
After back-to-back victories against Arsenal and then Leicester City before a weekend off due to not being involved in FA Cup fifth round action, West Ham may have believed things were gelling under Graham Potter but they have since lost once again.
Up against a Newcastle United side that have been in tricky form of late with their squad becoming depleted and potentially distracted by the EFL Cup final last weekend, they were by far the second best side on the night and eventually suffered a 1-0 loss at home to the Magpies.

Everton vs West Ham Prediction
Everton’s performances have perhaps dropped off in their last two games away at Brentford and Wolverhampton Wanderers – and yet they have managed to avoid defeat in both. At Goodison Park, they will fancy their chances against anyone in the last couple of months of the campaign, which is, of course, the final ever season at Goodison. They face a West Ham side that have been underwhelming throughout the campaign and have yet to show any consistency under Potter just yet with a soft underbelly likely to be exposed but a new and improved Everton side on Merseyside this weekend.
