Everton Preview: Just about doing enough
The Toffees continue to grind out results in the Premier League with Sean Dyche's men having suffered just one defeat in their last seven games, with two wins and four draws in that time, and they are three points clear of the relegation zone heading into the weekend.
The main area Dyche will be looking to see improvement in is in front of goal, as they have found the net just once in their last three games and have largely relied on their steadfast backline to pick up results.
Brentford Preview: Up and down
Brentford's form prior to the international break was inconsistent with their last five league games seeing them alternate between a win and a loss, with their most recent encounter seeing them twice come from behind to defeat Bournemouth.
Evanilson had put the Cherries in front after 17 minutes, only for Yoane Wissa to equalise for the Bees ten minutes later. Justin Kluivert restored Bournemouth's advantage early in the second half, but Mikkel Damsgaard and Wissa again quickly responded to complete a 3-2 victory for Thomas Frank's men at the Gtech.
Everton Team News: Positive news on Branthwaite & McNeil
Dyche is hopeful that both Jarrad Branthwaite and Dwitght McNeil can both be available on Saturday, so it would not be a surprise to see the pair in the starting line-up at Goodison Park.
Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja have both resumed training after layoffs but they won't be considered for action just yet, with Broja expected to take part in a behind-closed-doors game in order to build up his match sharpness.
Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Doucoure, Gueye; Lindstrom, McNeil, Ndiaye; Calvert-Lewin
Unavailable: Coleman (Injured), Garner (Injured), Iroegbunam (Injured), Chermiti (Fitness), Broja (Fitness)
Questionable: Branthwaite (Injured), McNeil (Injured)
Brentford Team News: Trio fit
After missing international duty, there were concerns over Ethan Pinnock, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, but Frank has played down those fears and insisted that all three should be available for the trip to Merseyside.
Frank also confirmed that Igor Thiago will make the squad after recent action in a behind-closed-doors friendly. while Gustavo Nunes, who also took part, needs a little longer before he can be considered.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Flekken; Van den Berg, Collins, Pinnock, Lewis-Potter; Jensen, Norgaard, Janelt; Mbeumo, Wissa, Damsgaard
Unavailable: Hickey (Injured), Henry (Fitness), Ajer (Injured), Dasilva (Injured), Nunes (Fitness)

Everton vs Brentford Prediction
Everton will take heart from Brentford's dire away form this season with the Bees having lost all five of their Premier League away games this season.
However, most of those contests were against elite opposition, and they have at least scored in their last four on the road. Given that the Toffees continue to toil in front of goal, the visitors could be a worth a punt in the draw no bet market, especially as the likes of Mbeumo and Wissa are set to be available.
