Ethiopia vs Djibouti Prediction
In Group A of CAF’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, both Ethiopia and Djibouti are yet to win a game in their opening five matches as they sit fifth and sixth, having also combined for just four goals between them thus far.
Despite having notched just a solitary goal, the Ethiopians have earned themselves three draws with two defeats in those five games. They most recently suffered a 2-0 loss to the runaway Group A leaders Egypt the other day due to goals scored by Mohamed Salah as well as Ahmed Sayed, more commonly known as Zizo.
They now face a Djibouti side that have scored three goals in their five games but they, as one of the weakest sides in Africa, have collected just one point from their five matches. They come into this one on the back of a 4-1 loss to Burkina Faso at Stade El Abdi with the Burkinabe’s dominant throughout that clash the other day.
This is a clash between two of the weakest sides in Africa that have just so happened to be drawn together in the same group and a low-scoring affair is to be expected in Morocco this week.
Ethiopia vs Djibouti Tip: Under 2.5 goals
